These animals all seek  new loving homes, but MUST have secure gardens and daytime company.   We have lots of lovely older dogs seeking homes - they may take longer to readjust, but they will repay the effort one hundredfold!    In spite of the care taken to match a dog to its new home, sometimes it just doesn't work out - but we do insist that the animal is returned to us.  Any special needs will be listed below, where we know a dogs history.     
Please note that a donation of €50 will be required to cover medical and boarding expenses.

Atlas, 14 month old, loveable male boxer, neutered, must be rehomed due to change of family situation (medical). 
He is a typical boxer in that he is lively, playful, energetic and very friendly. He knows basic commands (sit, stay, down, heel), though he does get distracted easily especially with other dogs nearby and as such needs a firm hand. A home with a garden and area he can run and play in would be ideal for him as he is not suitable for living in a flat nor with a family with very young children because of his excitable nature.He is friendly towards people and dogs and loves playing with both. He is non-aggressive towards cats though his energetic temperament makes them nervous.  
He is a house dog, and needs a fully enclosed garden to play in and someone at home all day to amuse him!  If you think thats you, then ring Mike...

Brandy is a beautiful one year old labrador who is obedient and loyal and a great watch dog. He needs an adult family who are familiar with the strenght of a big labrador.He is neutered and vacc. and in good health.

NOT AT THE CENTRE - Enfield area. 
His name is Pepper, he'll be 2years old in April, has been neutered along with a full vet history. His breed is a cross between a collie and a retriever. He's also jet black.

Newfoundland cross - jet black, 16mths old, neutered and vaccinated. Obedient and loving, ideal family dog. Would pass for a guard dog, but he's a real gentle giant.

Labrador found 3 wks ago in Ballinagore. Well trained and well behaved - an ideal family pet- good with other dogs. Obviously from a good home.

Gretchen otherwise known as" funny face" needs a home.  
She is 2 years nearly and because she is not pretty nobody likes her. she is really sweet and lovable and she is one of the most needy dogs here. she came into the centre with two other siblings who were black and white collies and all of the three had one" wall " eye on the same side .
